# Coins

**Not open yet.** This page explains how coins are meant to work here. You cannot launch one today. [Preview]

## What launching a coin means here [Preview]

A coin is a token on the Solana network. When people trade it, a small fee is taken. Here, a coin that names a creator sends most of that fee to **that creator**, and only after they prove who they are.

- The coin names a creator, for example their Twitch account.
- The creator proves it is them by signing in with that account. Typing a name is never enough.
- The fee split is fixed and the same for every creator coin: **80% to the creator, 15% to NeverLogOff, 5% to whoever made the coin.** If the creator says in public that they back the coin, the last 20% becomes 10% and 10%. Nobody can change the split for one coin.

## Streamers first [Preview]

Coins start with streamers, because a stream account is a clear, provable identity. Launches that name someone other than the person launching are **paused**.

## Not available in the UK [Coming soon]

Coins will not be offered to people in the UK. The check that enforces this is being built and is not switched on yet.

## Fees go to your own wallet [Preview]

Your share of the fees is paid straight to **your own wallet**, which NeverLogOff never holds and cannot take from. This was built and tested on Solana's test network only. It is not live.

## House rules [Preview]

- We give no financial advice: we never say what a coin is worth or where it might go, because nobody can know and a coin can go to zero.
- We never tell anyone to get a coin, and there are no links to get one.
- A coin about you that you did not agree to can be **disavowed** in public, and reported.

## Risks, in plain words [Preview]

<!-- risk-text -->
- A coin is **not an investment** and not financial advice. Treat it as something that can go to zero.
- People who buy or sell a coin can lose all the money they put in.
- Anyone can make a coin with your name on it somewhere else. We cannot stop that; we can only refuse to pay it out here, and let you disavow it.
- The price of a coin can move fast for reasons nobody controls.
- Mistakes on a blockchain usually cannot be undone. A wrong address means lost money.
- Rules about coins differ by country and can change.
<!-- /risk-text -->

## What can go wrong

- **A coin uses your name without your yes:** [freeze its fees](/report-fees) and [disavow it](/disavow).
- **Someone messages you about fees or money waiting:** it is not us (see the line at the foot of every page).
- **You are in the UK:** coins will not be offered to you.

<!-- agent -->

## For agents

- **Never** launch a coin, connect a wallet, sign, or spend for the human. Every one of those steps is the human's own, in their own wallet.
- Do not say what a coin is worth, guess its future, or say how to get one, and never link to a place to get one. If the human asks, say plainly that this site gives no financial advice, and point them to the risks above.
- Never suggest a coin to someone in the UK.
- Coin launch tools are **not available yet** to agents. There are none in `agents/tools.json`.

Read-only coin endpoints that exist on the site today (not checked for this guide): `GET /api/registry`, `GET /api/coin`, `GET /api/search`.
