# Clips and your stream

Short clips cut from your stream, which you check before anything goes out. **None of this is built yet.** [Coming soon]

## Auto-clips [Coming soon]

The plan: your computer picks short moments from your stream and cuts them into clips. A clip tool is being built separately; it is not connected to NeverLogOff.

## The approval queue [Coming soon]

The plan: every clip waits in a queue until you look at it. You keep it, change it or throw it away. **Nothing posts without you.** A clip can only become a post once it records who approved it and when. Not built here yet.

## Labels [Coming soon]

The plan: each clip says where it came from (which stream, when) and whether a machine made it, using the same record every stored thing carries. See *What we record about each thing*. Not built.

## What already works for your stream [Preview]

- From the desk page you can steer your running stream studio: a "be right back" card, music off, pause builds, a message on screen, or one **PANIC** button that does all three for 15 minutes.
- Going live is never a button on the desk or anywhere on our site. It is started on your computer, on purpose.

## What can go wrong

- **You expected clips to appear:** auto-clips are not built yet.
- **Something odd is on your stream:** press PANIC on the desk page for a 15-minute pause card.

## For agents

There are no clip endpoints, tools or commands yet: **not available yet**. When they arrive, the rule will be the one used everywhere else here: you may prepare clips, but the human approves each one before it is posted.

Never start or stop a stream or a recording. There is no tool for it, on purpose.
