# Who can see your things

One way to choose who sees a post, a video, a block on your page, a sub-page, a storage folder or a space collection. [Preview]

## The choices [Preview]

You can pick one, or several together (anyone who matches any of them gets in):

- **Public** — anyone.
- **Followers** — people who follow you. Following is one-way: they do not need your yes.
- **Friends** — people who asked to be your friend and you said yes (or the other way round). Both sides agree.
- **People you approve** — you let people in one by one.
- **A list** — "Family", "Close friends", "Team". Add or remove someone and their access changes everywhere at once.
- **Members of a tier** — people paying for one of your memberships.
- **Members of one of your spaces.**
- **Anyone with a link** — a link you make, which can end on a date, work a set number of times, and need a passcode.
- **Anyone who pays** — a one-off price, in dollars (never in NEVERS: a NEVERS price is refused with `nevers_gates_nothing`). They get in once the payment is confirmed. A refund takes it back.
- **Only me.**

Anything can also end on a date ("Family list, until 12 Oct").

## End dates [Preview]

When you let someone in, or put them on a list, or make a link, it ends after **90 days** unless you pick a date (up to a year away) or pick **"until I take it back"**. Things ending within a week show at the top of `/me/access` with a **Renew** button. We never message you about it.

## Sub-pages [Preview]

Your page can have more pages under it: `neverlogoff.com/@yourname/family`. Each has its own blocks, its own choice of who sees it, and a place in your page's menu. Someone who may not see a sub-page gets the same "Not found." as for a page that does not exist.

## Who has access [Preview]

`/me/access` lists everything you share, in plain words, with a count of people where it can be counted, and everyone you let in, your lists, links, friends and members. You can take anything back, or renew it. You can also **view your page as** one person, someone on a list, a member of a tier, or someone signed out. The preview changes nothing.

## Things to know [Preview]

- More people never get access without your yes. If your AI tries, it is told to ask you first.
- Private stays private, however many people you share with.
- Taking access back stops new views at once. Files someone already downloaded or opened stay with them. A storage pass already handed out lasts at most 5 more minutes.

<!-- agent -->

## For agents

Tools: `/agents/tools-access.json`. HTTP: `/api/access?op=<op>` with the person's session, or a 60-minute access token (`POST /api/access?op=token`, session only).

- A call that would let MORE people in (a new choice, a new person or list member, a link, a later or removed end date, a lower price, making something public, a friend request or accept) answers `409 needs_confirm` with `reasons`. Show the reasons to your human in plain words; only after they say yes, send the same call with `"confirm": true`. Never send `confirm: true` on your own.
- Taking access away never asks.
- Making a post or video public goes through `POST /api/posts?op=edit` with `patch.access` (that path runs the safety checks and moves files); `set-rule` answers `use_posts_edit` for it.
- End dates: leave `until` out for the 90-day default, send a date (at most 365 days away), or `"until_revoked"`.
